Microlite® XG™ Duct Wrap

Microlite® XG™ is a lightweight, blanket-type thermal insulation made from glass fibers and protected on the outside with a fiber-reinforced foil covering. It is bonded with an acrylic resin instead of formaldehyde-based resin, which is what gives Microlite XG its unique white color. It is designed to wrap around air ducts and be sealed with an "UL 181" tape.

Microlite XG contains no formaldehyde, so it won't add any formaldehyde to the air that home owners and their families breathe every day. It is also manufactured using at least 17.5% recycled content, reducing the impact on our environment.

Building codes and safety

Microlite XG is tested to meet all relevant standards and building codes, including flame resistance and thermal performance. Some products, such as reflective bubble-wrap duct insulations, may not meet your local or state building codes. With Microlite XG, you get peace of mind.
